In reply to your inquiry,

One of the things we do at our hospital to promote BF duration is to work
closely with Human Resources. Since we are large and have many physican
offices owned by the larger "system" we have several thousand employees "off
site' either in physican offices, laboratory services or radiology.. Our HR
department will rent a Lactina for any off site employee that requests one,
for as long as she desires. Since we have an in-hospital rental station - we
will work with HR offer them at a greatly reduced cost, just enough to
cover our costs plus a little extra, but of great discount to Human
Resources.

Of course this is not widely or openly advertised in the Human Resource
Manual - but all the LC's try to catch the employess as they give birth to
the benefit. Some physicians have taken advantage of this, but in reality
other ancillary services have used it more often.
