<< Jennifer, how do you *make* an exclusively breastfed baby who is thriving
in
every way stool *many* times a day? According to your post, my baby, who is
gaining, happy, healthy, exclusively breastfed, but happens to stool only
once every 7 days, has something wrong with her. What can I do to fix it?
And how do I tell parents to fix it? And what is wrong with her? I'm
concerned that parents, who have more than enough to worry about, will get
fixated on the bowels unnecessarily. >>

I understand your concern. In my experience, however, most moms know it isn't
right and they have their own intuition denied when we all tell them it is
okay. When moms have called me with these symptom, they are either worried
about it or they have been told not to worry and are relieved when I tell
them that their original concern was valid and it is easily treated. I cannot
say that I know what is wrong--maybe birth trauma causing blocked
neurological communication, maybe food allergies, maybe many other things.
But, I have only ever worked with one mom where both homeopathy and PT didn't
work permanently and this was, IMO, b/c she refused to modify her diet.
