I might not have heard the outcome on this but for the fact that I sit on
the Nursing Performance Improvement Committee. One of the other members
noted, "This nurse says to me, can you read this order? It sure looks like
'mother to wash hands thoroughly before breastfeeding.'"
So -- the docs thought it out and took our advice, even before seeing the
info from the Latrobe site.

Thanks to all of you who responded. So quickly! I really appreciate it! And
I'm glad to say that what they wanted to know was if there would be a viral
load in the milk. There was no question about breast being best.

Relieved that the baby is breastfeeding
Rejoicing in the help we have available from each other!
