I need to have references in books where it states that taking
fluconazole for candidiasis of the breasts is ok for a breastfeeding mom.
Doctor will not prescribe without book refererences. I have from the
archives, the post written by Dr. Hale that shows the table from the
pharmaceutical insert, but it does not state that this drug is ok for
breastfeeding. Doctor is going by what PDR says.
Also, can anyone tell me what drug is safe to take for bacterial
vaginosis or gardneaella? The recommended doses are Flagyl oral X 1 week
or metnogel (sp) vaginal suppositories and according to the doc, both are
contraindicated for breastfeeding moms.
Please help! Thank you so much!
