Well said.  A few  weeks ago I was in the very uncomfortable position of
having to suggest to a mother that the baby needed ABM.  Babe was 5 days
old, still passing meconium, red crystals in diaper and wouldn't latch.
In the 24 hours previous to my seeing her (on day 6) she had only had 5
ounces of EBM, and probably not even that much in the days after hospital
discharge.  It is very hard for me to suggest ABM.
