My dear Megan,

Ah, the pesky Initial Dilemma. You could:

   1. sign them in the order in which you received them
   2. sign them in alphabetical order
   3. sign them in order of importance at that moment
   4. change them around often so as to combat predictability
   5. use only one at a time so as not to overwhelm someone
   6. get business cards printed up and leave it to the printer to decide
   7. put the newest one first
   8. ditch them all and just sign things "Wonder Woman" (W.W.)

Remember to treasure the wisdom represented by the initials, not just the
initials themselves! What riches we're blessed with in our education!
When this topic comes up in our family, I sometimes detect a bemused (or
could it be envious?) expression on my husband's face, who has two
wonderful but lonely initials after his name: M.D.

Kathryn Colestock-Burke, BSN, RN, Mom, Mom, MS, CNM, Mom, Mom, LC
(according to #1 above)
(and which do you suspect are my greatest treasures?!?!?!)
