Yes, I recognise this. I have used some rather strange techniques (that I
will not describe and never tell anyone else) just in order to get the
nipple/breast into the mouth in order to get the message to the baby that
that's where the food is coming from.
And if used with caution and well explained to the mother (and whoever else
may be watching!) that this is a rather experimental technique that only
should be used a few times to get the baby to do the trick himself, all kinds
of techniques might be helpfull.
But let's please, please not teach those to cohorts of hcp's who just want
the one magic trick to get all babies to the breast.
