Hi, everyone. I thought you might be interested in this letter I wrote
yesterday, apropos our mastitis thread. I'm thinking of writing something up
on this for my graduate school "scholarly project." Will let you all know
what reply I get.

Dear Dr. Whitman-Elia,

I read your article about galactorrhea in Postgraduate Medicine with great
interest. As an international board certified lactation consultant, I am
particularly interested in how the lactation/breastfeeding experience of the
case study subjects may have been affected by their central nervous system
lesions. You mention the importance of examining the health history for
galactoceles and mastitis. I am wondering whether we should consider adding
endocrine studies to our protocols for treating lactating women with
persistent mastitis and galactoceles.

Any information or thoughts you have about this would be greatly
appreciated. Please feel free to email me at the above address.
