It is very frustrating when a baby and mom would benefit from this simple
procedure and the peds says "we'll see if it is a problem in a few months"!!
At our hospital a family practice group will do this for their patients and
this includes the Nurse Practitioner.  One of our three Neos will also do it
but, it will be interesting to see other docs reaction.  We also have a
childrens Dentist in the area that will provide this service as well.  This
is a topic that is going to be brought up at the next Peds meeting in
January.  I have asked the one Family Practice Doctor to attend, for his
support.
