Hi Jessica,
Two things immediately come to mind when reading your post.
1. "Bodywork" for the baby, meaning CST or Chiropractic. Parents and
doctors in my area find this recommendation odd and I only really make
this recommendation based on lactnet accounts of how helpful it is.
2. Moms breasts still infected and need a different and/or longer
course of antibiotics, like possibly treat for MRSA or maybe strep.
Not sure if she can be cultured now and find the right antibiotic. I
think she would benefit from also taking a probiotic and possibly
NSAIDs like ibuprofen or naproxen around the clock for a few days. Of
course, this aspect needs to be managed by her doctor.
