Are there any veterinarians out there or "breeders" of one or more mammals
? JUST HOW MANY mares, dams, bitches, sows, does,or nannies have primary
lactational insufficiency ?
How many #'s out of 100 stock can't make milk for their offspring ?
        This was a question put up to me by my husband Tim, who is acutely
aware of the seeming vast numbers of human mom's who can't get going with
such a natural process. Granted the higher up the brain volume, modeling or
learned behaviours are important for activities of reproduction and child
rearing. At SeaWorld here in sunny Florida (78*) we have birthing Killer
Whales who benefit by having Doula whales hang out with them.  I've heard
that Gorilla moms don't do well if they haven't had other moms around to
model after. But what is the statistical number of mammals other than us
that CAN NOT PRODUCE ENOUGH MILK.
      My husband is hoping we could raise goats or thoroughbreds, he's
positive there won't be so much time spent on the phone or LACTNET.
