The mother would not have to wean while taking fluconazole.  And two
days of fluconazole is nowhere near enough.  I usually treat with 200 mg
loading, then 100 mg twice daily for *at least* two weeks, or until the
mother is pain free for a week.  The babies continue breastfeeding, and
indeed, frequently treated themselves with 6mg/kg loading then
3mg/kg/day as a single dose for the same time as the mother.

The decision to breastfeed is the *mother's*, not anyone else's.
