I agree with Alicia that a narrow scissors hold is the problematic one
as it limits the amount of breast available for the baby to attach to.
Also a narrow grip on the breast is likely to push the milk sinuses back
away from the nipple, and prevent the baby from latching onto them,
whereas lifting a bit from underneathe the breast, whether done with one
finger or 4, seems to push the glandular tissue forward, into the teat.
