Interestingly I have two clients reporting that their exclusively babies may be obese.. one is 20 lbs at 4 months of age.  They are indeed off the charts, even the WHO charts. One provider has suggested that the infant be kept from feeding so often.
I have reassured the moms that breastfed babies gain quickly the first several months then slow the latter half of the first year. I will continue to search for some evidence to support my claim and then will have a conversation with the provider(s). Does anyone have something valuable at their fingertips?
