Amy,

I suggest you go to the breastfeeding herbs site of Lisa Marasco
( [log in to unmask]) and post your question as there are
several herbalists who frequent this site and could answer your questions. (You
should introduce yourself and I can't remember if there are other requirements
for joining, so apologies to Lisa, if there are). According to my sparse in
comparison knowledge of herbs, the comfrey would be questionable on the nipples
for baby to ingest and the calendula ok (used alot in Europe for damaged
nipples as it has antibacterial/antifungal properties. The other ingredients I'm
unsure of though it sounds like alot of ingredients that could even cause
sensitivity and then one never knows what ingredient is the culprit.
