Lori, I recently retired as a Manager of a Breastfeeding Resource center in a
large hospital in Memphis. We started renting pumps to benefit our NICU
breastfeeding Moms. In two years our volume was increased from 12 pumps to
over 100 and as LC's we were responsible for all the billing, paper work etc.
I would try to insist on a clerical person to help with this. It was really
nice not to have the financial responsibility personalty and the profits did
justify our salaries. The only drawback is it does take time away from your
inhouse patients because, I agree, every pump rental needs to be hands on.
E-Mail me again if I can help Pat
