I just hate it when I want to use an important fact and can remember the
reference.

Was writing a letter for a patient yesterday about benefits of
breastfeeding for mom and baby. Wanted to end with the statement about
the hierarchy of infant nutrition--feeding at the breast, ebm from
infant's own mom, donor milk and lastly formula.

Can anyone tell me where that statement came from? I really thought it
was WHO, but couldn't find it anywhere. Checked the archives, but
couldn't get the info.
