Nathalie,

FTT and non-engagement can be a symptom of various
genetic/chromosomal/neurological disorders.  This baby needs to be seen by a
geneticist asap, imho.  The issue of parental neglect & lack of touching
should also be pointed out to the pediatrician, in case he/she hasn't
observed it.  I think pediatricians are supposed to look for neglect/abuse
sx when they see FTT babies, but you never know.

Please keep us posted on this case.
