My first thought was to pass this on and say it only applies to US Lactnetters and then I thought gee everyone else in the world can fly thru here, so maybe they can write Congressmen/women too and say how nice it would be if US airports were BF Friendly :-) List of US Congressmen and Congresswomen is available if you google. Thanks to everyone who writes. Pat in SNJ

PS: AWOHNN is a BF Friendly Organization

Subject: Make Airports Breastfeeding Friendly

HI All-
Contact your local House Representative and encourage her or him to support both moms and babies by voting for the FAM Act.
Thanks.

Breastfeeding Legislation Moves Forward in Senate
Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth's bipartisan Friendly Airports for Mothers (FAM) Act has passed the Senate as part of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization Act. The bipartisan FAM Act, endorsed by AWHONN, will now return to the House for consideration as part of the FAA Reauthorization Act. The FAM Act would ensure breastfeeding mothers traveling through large- and medium-sized airports have accessible, clean, and convenient lactation rooms.
