How about replying to the nurse that these slogans are patient
education.  We don't stop educating because patients make a decision
counter to our education!  We would still have anti-smoking materials in
the cardiac and medical wards, even if the patient has decided to smoke,
knowing all the risks.  These parents might have more babies, and can
make a different decision next time, or they can start pumping for their
present baby if they feel they made a hasty decision not to bf.
