I am going to write a grant proposal to the American Heart Association
to provide refreshments for mothers in breastfeeding support groups.
Can you think of other information that I could give them besides the
following as justification for their organization to provide the funds:

1) The food would be nutritious and heart healthy
2) For babies with congenital heart disease, as well as the benefits for
all babies, breastfeeding requires less work than bottle feeding,
indicated by heart and respiratory rates
3) Breastfeeding offers some protective effects against obesity
4) Breastfeeding women return to their prenatal weight faster than women
who feed their babies formula
5) Animal studies strongly suggest that species specific milk has a
positive effect on serum cholesterol levels.
