Hi Everyone,

First of all, thank you very much for you insight into the question I
posted yesterday about this subject. As many of you suggested it appears
I might have a hyperactive let-down reflex. I looked it up and I fit the
description perfectly: primiparous, baby swallows fast and takes big
gulps, milk spills from sides of mouth and other breast, baby clamps down
and lately pees a lot more. The thing is that I normally only feed on one
side at a time, but I do switch sides at the next feeding. I'm lactose
intolerant, so I don't eat dairies, except for 1 yogurt a day.

Would it help if I pump a little before I put baby to breast to avoid
giving her too much foremilk and thus create a f/h milk imbalance?? I
should also try to feed a little less often, right (no less than 2 hours
between feedings)???

Thanks again for all your help, I'm learning a lot with the actual
practice of bf, it's a great compliment to all the theory learned for
years!! Hopefully I'll be able to take the test in July!!!
