"Will milk from a mother with a 6 or 8 month old be complete nutrition for a
newborn?"

Compared with what?  Infant formula? 

Assuming that the mother is human (regardless of the age of her baby), her
milk will nourish a newborn *human* infant far more completely than milk
sourced from a herd of intensively farmed cows, homogenised, pasteurised,
modified, fortified, spray dried and reconstituted.
