Kathy -- the only use I have ever seen for tinc. of benzoin, in hospital, was to help stick dressings over c/sections.  And some anesthesiologists use it as well as tape to hold epidural catheters in place.  

That's the reason I was so suprised to hear about it being used for breasts.
The thought of it still makes me gag!!
