I was asked by a coworker last night if I knew why her breastfed baby who
is 7 months old would suddenly start getting hives from breastmilk. He has
been eating baby foods for 4 months and over the past week or so has
started getting hives on his face and legs after nursing or bottle feeding
expressed breast milk. She said she has not started eating anything
different, no new soaps, laundry soaps, or cleaners. She said specifically
yesterday she fed him a bottle of EBM and within an hour he had hives on
his face. I told her I'd ask if anyone had any suggestions. Barb
