have very much enjoyed reading the interesting thoughts and ideas about
content of bf and a/n education.
I have changed my own tack lately and certainly talk of the dangers of
formula feeding - have found Maureen Minchins little book "FF - dangerous
for any baby?" helpful in clarifying my thoughts about this.
Last class was very quiet as I spoke about the reasons bf is far superior -
uses 101 reasons to bf from the Promom site as it is nicely displayed and
has the references. Every evulation said that they had a lot of new info to
think about and had changed their minds about some aspect of their intended
birth plan.

Today I spoke with m/w and nurses at an inservice - my topics were teaching
mothers to bf, the reluctant nurser, and unsettled babies.
It was very pleasing to get great feedbabck and to have several people tell
me i had renewed their enthusiasm to help mums.
that's what it is all about.
Don't lets get down about how little we can change - even 1 sucess is worth
the effort!
