Can someone satisfy my curiosity? Maybe I'm getting the wrong
impression, but is pumping popular in the States? Mostly among
working/studying mothers? Moms of preemies? Any official
statistics or anecdotes, impressions will do. Sadly, most women
here, if they have to pump for one reason or another, wean rather
quickly. There is zero contact between those who recommend
pumping (doctor or nurse), the people who "rent" pumps (a
national charitable organization- actually, the pumps are loaned
out against a deposit), and me. Yes, I hear you, and no, there
is NO WAY that I can get involved in renting pumps as a business
venture. Just curious about the American way of life. We in
Israel have a loooonnnnng way to go. Judy Knopf
