Last year when my nursling was 2 years old, I went to an NP at my
university for a routine GYN exam. Before she did the breast exam, I warned
her that my breasts were going to feel lumpy because I was bf and I was
engorged since I'd been away from my son all day...
after the exam she made sure to advise me to be sure to nurse 8-12 times a
day.  At least she was trying to have her mind in the right place... she
never even asked how old my son was :)
