I saw a terrific presentation on these at UVA's 4th annual breast
conference. The fragility of those whisper-thin cameras was pretty
amazing. I do distinctly remember the speaker (from U of Texas, I
believe, though I can't recall his name) discussing the use of expressed
fluid to evaluate for cancerous cells and advising the group that they
should consult a breastfeeding mom to learn how to express!

Janice, I also wondered as to possible applications for lactation
research.

OT-- I noticed today that several reviews on the book by Dr. Natterson
(Today Show) were chucked by Amazon, raising her overall rating to 4
stars. I remembered to look after finding a copy of Parents magazine
(March or April) which published a letter of mine, which turns out to be
in response to comments made by Dr. Natterson. Despite my publication in
a couple of medical journals, my mother still considers that my best
publication as a doc!
