Hi all,

One of my clients asked me if breastfeeding makes it easier to strain muscles. She has hurt her wrist frequently recently. She has lost a lot of weight since baby was born. Baby is about 8 months and very bonny and chubby. I suggested she make sure she eats well/enough and is careful with movements new since baby was born eg. pad pram handle, extra care when carrying car seat (such awkward big things). I do suspect it is just a case of living in our culture and so breastfeeding blamed for the negatives. However am I missing a hormonal issue due to breastfeeding?

Thank you in advance,

Sarah McCann
