Diana took the words right out of my mouth.  I have tons of suggestions to help the mother 
increase the milk from the lower producing side.  But, the first question is, at the end of the 
day does she have enough milk to meet the child's needs during that same period?  If the 
answer is yes, then the stress of trying to balance the breasts does not seem worth it.  

Working and pumping, and just generally being away from the baby, particularly after being 
home for six months, is already creating a tremendous amount of strain for her.  I would 
try to steer her away from anything that will produce more emotional strain.
