Nina,
Thank you for this information!
I will definitely boycott The Body Shop (sigh!) if L'Oreal buys them out. I
emailed them to let them know. Here is the note I sent:

"I am writing to you to express my disappointment that L'Oreal may buy the
Body Shop.

While it may be a great move for the companies involved, I will miss my
airport shopping at your stores. I am in El Paso, Texas where shopping isn't
what it is in Kansas City, Chicago or New York (other places I have lived). So
I look forward to the aromas and colors and samples and new products at your
airport shops when I travel.

It would be a shame to cross your stores off my list because of the Nestle
boycott I have honored to for so long.

Please reconsider this business offer from L'Oreal; the babies who need
breastmilk and not artificial milk (and that is EVERY baby) need your support in
the Nestle boycott!"

It is disappointing to have yet another business succumb to this
corporation. When we first started boycotting Nestle my husband stated as we walked
through the grocery store, "But we have to EAT!!" Which just goes to show, even
though we never really bought much of their products anyway, how pervasive
they are.

Subject: Nestle Boycott and the Body Shop

Hi all
It seems that IBFAN may add the body shop to the nestle boycott list, if a
proposed takeover goes ahead.
