Hi everyone!

Just wondered what the latest is on safety of the combined
(estrogen/progesterone) oral contraceptives and breastfeeding. I know there
are articles in the literature stating it's safety on the infant's health.
I am more concerned about milk supply. This subject has probably been
discussed on Lactnet so I apologize for bringing it up again. For some
reason I am remembering hearing a push for progestin-only pills so moms won't
have to deal with estrogen side-effects. The OB's here are pretty much
refusing at this point in time to prescribe these. I don't know why - Just
because they're the doctors and I'm not! Could someone give me some
assistance? TIA
