Dear Becky and Lactnetters,

I want to correct what I wrote a couple days ago about the mom whose burning
in the breasts was initially thought to be breast infection and then nerve
compression. That was wrong. (Shows what happens sometimes when you get
information second hand)

I spoke with the midwife today and asked for more information. What the
mother actually had was Costo Condritis (sp?), an inflammation of the lining
between the ribs. The TX was with antiinflammatory med.
