Well, I too should have read a little more carefully when I first posted - I assumed the warning that came to all our docs was from Health Canada - not so - and from what I can tell there has not been a new warning since the 2007 study.  That being said, the two studies that Wendy citied should cause us to be very thoughtful when prescribing/encouraging high doses of domperidone. I did speak with our local pharmacist and he state he would be more concerned if there were other medication involved, if the mother was older, if there were "cardiac issues" for the mother and she was on a high dosage of domperidone.   I am still waiting to hear back from Teva Canada as to why they sent another "warning" out to all the docs in our area.
