<<Do you feel the same for example about serving a mother who has had
breast reduction? Offering information about the risk of low milk
supply is not OK?>>

it wouldn't involve any use of the term 'low milk supply':) but yes.....

with a mom who's had a breast reduction, i'd definitely discuss coming
up with a plan. one that likely included supplementing at the breast
from the beginning or very near the beginning depending on her
surgery. she'd hopefully be joining the bfar email group and
reading diana wests book (i think i'm thinking of the right
one...haven't had a bfar mom in awhile).

I was thinking more along the lines of the mom with breasts that we
often associate with insufficient glandular tissue. i've seen quite a
few (in labor) and only one of them had an issue with supply when it
came right down to it.

of course there have been others with the same issue, but i didn't
know them prenatally.
