So Gail (and the other MDs on the list) what was it that made the
difference with you that you didn't end up in the situation os not knowing
about breastfeeding? I'm curious.

Incidently, my GP is pregnant at the moment. It was I who was asking her if
she was going to breastfeed (her answer- well I have to say yes to you
don't I?). However, I don't believe that she is very committed and she has
told me that she is going in for an elective caesar at 37 weeks because her
partner is large, she doesn't think she can birth the baby and she doesn't
want all those problems she sees in her patients (prolapsed uterus etc I
think). I'd love to be able to influence her positively to become a
breastfeeding advocate at this time because if she doesn't BF this baby she
almost certainly won't ever change.
