Dear Attie and Carla - I see many mothers with "seedy" nipples. I only see
it on women with black colored nipples. I have always assumed that it that
this was flaking skin and posed no problems. When the baby finishes
feeding there are black flecks in it's mouth. After a few days the
"problem" vanishes. I don't know why I see this fairly
frequently.Sincerely Toby
