Yes, I was an avid Dr. Quinn fan, as I have an interest in history of
medicine.
The baby was about 9-10 months old, and died of some "mysterious" diarrheal
illness.  (Remember, this was pre-antibiotic era.) She had been breastfed,
but mom was "weaning her, and giving milk from our cow".  When tests of the
milk directly from the cow were negative, Dr. Quinn astutely cultured the
milk from the bottle tubing to find the culprit.
