This is purely annecdotal, my study of three bf daughters.   My oldest,
slender, bf exclusively for 6 months, weaned at 15 months, onset of menses
12 yr. 3 months.  My middle daughter, overweight, bf exclusively for 10
months, weaned at 2.5 years,  onset of menses 12 yr. 1 month.  Daughter #3,
quite slender, bf exclusively for 8 months, weaned at 2.5 years, onset of
menses 12 yr. 6 months.  

My sister, cousin and I all ABM, ages range from 47 - 57, all onset of
menses app. 12.5 years.  My mother, however, was 13.5 years at onset.  She
bf for an unknown period of time, despite my grandmother's inverted nipples.
