Can't quote references for latch and over supply. But at the Breastfeeding Clinic Mike Woolridge ran in Bristol, the vast majority of
problems were helped by adjusting positioning to ensure that baby was suckling effectively. I have heard Chloe Fisher describe very
speedy and dramatic resolution of severe over-supply problems with improved positioning.

My understanding of why there would be a link would be as follows - baby not optimally attached = unable to reach hindmilk effectively,
therefore baby will need to consume large volumes of milk to get enough fat to satisfy appetite. This could then lead to the
foremilk/hindmilk imbalance, with associated problems. As I have heard Mike say, 'Perfect positioning is paramount'.
