My first reaction is to the word "babies" which is a loose term at best. Will this law protect those nursing 9 mo olds? 12 mo olds? 2 yr olds? or older??? I am now nursing my 2 1/2 year old and many people would not consider him a "baby" so where would our rights be? Would this mean I would be at more risk of Protective Services thinking it was some bizarre sexual thing as even the legislature knows bf is for "babies"??? I do wish the laws would read bf their "children" without any inference of age!!!! Well, you asked for an opinion and I guess I have a strong one on that point! When PA was looking at legislature (and just what happened to it anyway? never heard of it again.....) this was what I wrote my state reps about. I feel it is important we protect the bf relationship without regard to the age of hte nursling.

That's my .05 worth!
