I had a Gerber rep visit me a month or so ago and show me their line of
products which weren't all that bad but expensive to use--especially the
gel pads. I questioned her about WHO code violations and how we wanted to
be incompliance with the WHO code as a goal. She told me that they no
longer make or sell formula. She said the only place they had it was on an
Army base in the Phillipines and it wasn't even there any longer. I
wondered if she was "feeding me a line" but I never got to check it out.
It wasn't first on my priority list as the hospital is not interested in
carrying these products. What do you know about Gerber? I looked on the
grocery store shelves and I did not see any Gerber formula, just baby foods
galore!
