Anne, there is an instructor or two at the University of N. Dakota
nursing school who are highly invested in helping their students learn
about breastfeeding in an in depth way. They use Lactnet as a learning
tool, and every single student who posts from that program is clear,
concise, well read (better than many IBCLCS and RNS), and states their
references when posting a query. The instructors of that nursing school
should be written up or applauded online and off, and congratulated for
their commitment to a high level of education for their students.  I
have never seen better prepared students than the N. Dakota students, in
20 years of experience as a nurse.  Kathleen

I notice that Lactnet receives several posts from
University of North Dakota Nursing students who are
involved with breastfeeing...a class, a research
project, etc. Can someone describe what the courses
are, is a there a degree involved? is there clinical
involved. Basically, I want to know more about a
University that is generating so much interest in breastfeeding. TIA,
