Following several recommendation's including a nice conversation with
Kathleen Auerbach. We got this patient in to see a Dermatologist. Money
being an issue, this MD saw this patient for free. The LC went with the
patient. The results are that there is no dermatologic condition on this
women's nipples. The dermatologist did recommend that she now see a breast
surgeon and I am going to call her tommorow. Don't worry Kathleen...I do not
think this Doc. will want to operate on this lady. We are going to try and
video tape the squirting of milk from the montgomery glands. Its really
quite unusual and we are getting pictures of the actual nipples. The reason
for the breast surgeon is to find out if this is some sort of anomaly or
what. The patient has come to the conclusion that she will not be able to
breastfeed this baby either, but wants to find out what is wrong with her
nipples.

The dermatologist did look with a magnifying glass at the nipples and could
not detect any nipple pores or anything. He was knowledgeable and knew that
the milk should not becoming out the montgomery glands but as Kathleen said,
agreed that if the milk has no where else to go...maybe the glands? ??

I will continue to keep you updated. I have recieved many emails and have
read the many posts and no one has yet to have a similar experience with
actual squirting out of the montgomery glands...
