I have been asked by a hospital LC if I knew about any relationship between
Cytotec (used for PPH on this mum- 9th baby) and suppressed lactation. She
has breastfeed all her babies and this time 5days PP not a drop of milk. I
have checked the archives and didn't find the answer. Anyone know
anything???

I did some research on cytotec, having been induced with it for my last baby. I know there's a lot of concern about potential uterine hyperstimulation and excessive bleeding. To the extent that the excessive bleeding can affect milk production, I could see how there could be a correlation between delayed milk supply and cytotec use. I would look into other possibilities, of course, like thyroid imbalance. Sorry I don't have any more specific info.
