Love your script, Jessica! What a wonderful way to speak both truth and
love.

To start with you need to get the nurses on the right thinking path. If the
nurse feels like it is going to be hard to do - then it will be hard to do.
But if the nurses are positive about the change then it will be a positive
change. So, for the nurses talk about the free time they will get, time to
chart, take breaks and so on.
For the parents try something like:
"It has come to the attention of the staff at ..... that newborn babies need
to spend as much time with their parents as possible. It is easier for your
newborn to transition to the outside world knowing that you are nearby. We
will no longer be taking your baby out of your room so that he/she will be
less stressed as they are being introduced to this world. Even though the
nurses will not be watching your baby for you remember that we are here for
you when ever you need us."
