I use homeopathy in my practice for all of these issues and many more--but I have been using homeopathy for 25 years. I tend to rely on the same basic remedies most of the time (especially for mastitis) but you cannot use homeopathy in the same way you use other medicines. For example, often less is more and remedies are usually individualized in a way no other medicine is. Even so, you can generally use remedies acutely, but it really helps to understand the basics of homeopathy, especially so that you know when constitutional remedies are needed. The book linked below is a fabulous resource, but in my workshops I teach the use of homeopathy for acute situations and anyone can generally rely on very good results.

For example, there are generally only three remedies for plugged ducts and mastitis that work for almost everyone. Phytolacca, belladonna and heper sulph. Phytolacca for plus, belladonna once there is heat, fever and hepar sulph for a tendency to recur once the remedy is stopped. In fact, the first two work well for the vast majority of women. Simple, fast and no gut destruction.
