Hi Tali,
Although I am not practicing dental hygiene at this time, I am certified to
provide laser therapy within the scope dental hygiene practice. I have not
heard of it used for breastfeeding, but there are so many fields using
lasers to promote tissue healing including physical therapy, dermatology,
chiropractic that we may soon see it used for nipple damage here as well.
Low
level laser or cool laser is another term for soft laser therapy. I am all
for it.
