This is probably a wonderful movie to take children to see. The movie
guide of our newspaper has reviewed "The Story of the Weeping Camel," a PG
film as 4-star. Description: The adventures of a family of herders who
face a crisis when a mother camel rejects her newborn calf. A musician is
summoned from a far-ff city to coax the mother camel in nursing her baby.

Interestingly, my OB told me after delivery of one of my daughters that he
knew how important colostrum was for mammal survival. He knew colostrum was
frozen for possible future need in cows, goats, etc. But he just did not
get it regarding human mom/baby after birth attachment. Once he helped me
deliver my healthy baby, he walked away to come back in 24 hours for a
discharge check. As to that time in between, no interest as to how the
breastfeeding was going or whether the hospital nurses were of any use (30
years ago they were not). A LLL leader via phone help was my answer.

How very different from my daughters midwife care, as she and her back up
partner stayed for hours to make sure of latch.
